Let’s talk about the first year with your little bundle of love! ❤️ There are so many special milestones that come in that first year, from the first blow out diaper to walking into your arms. From spit up to sippy cups, it all happens so fast. This is why we created our First Year Moments Collection. Most parents of older children offer advice to new moms and dads and it’s that, time flies, try to enjoy every second when they are little because you’ll miss it once it’s gone. For a new, non-showered mom, who is ankle deep in dirty diapers and hasn’t slept in a week, this sounds crazy! But it’s true! And the first year, especially, goes so quickly. As soon as they’ve figured out how to sit, they’re pulling themselves up, then they’re scaling the furniture, then they’re full on walking! So my First Year Moments Collection was intended to make it easier for you, as parents, to capture all the memories from that first year. You’re also encouraged to take family portraits at each session!
First, you receive priority scheduling for all your sessions so we can make sure the timing works for you. Also, each session includes a pre- consultation where we’ll go over what you’re looking for in terms of theme and style. This is one of my favorite parts of each session, because I get to know you and your family. I love connecting with my clients! At each session you’ll receive an 8 x 8 image block ( we just updated our plan to include these AMAZING products), you choose from three color options, to instantly hang on your wall, all high resolution hand edited digital files and custom app of images to share with family and friends! You’ll also come back after each session for a session premiere, where we get to look over all the beautiful portraits.
At the first year session, you’ll also receive a custom cake and custom backdrop for the session. We’ve had some beautiful set designs and I can’t wait to hear what you’re thinking for your little one’s first birthday! And one of the best parts, you take the cake home (what’s left of it anyway), and they are delicious and hand crafted by my amazing baker -Dolce Delights By Dana! I even have a few tricks up my sleeve if your little one isn’t ready to get messy. I put their favorite snack, goldfish, cheerios, you name it, right next to the cake to get them to grab at it. Works like magic!
At the end of your First Year Moments Collection session, you get to choose one end of the year keepsake item. There are two options; an 8×8 leather album that is engraved, you choose your color, includes 20 pages of portraits from all three sessions or a 16 x 20 wrapped canvas. Both of these are great choices as it’s something that you’ll instantly have, you won’t have to remember to order it and an instant done for you album of their first year ( can you say timesaver for you!! ) or display your beautifully wrapped canvas in your home. It’s a hard choice!
Another option that is encouraged at each session is to take some family portraits. Get in that portrait mom and dad! Get big brother and sister involved and capture that sibling love! Those are some of my most favorite portraits. And another benefit to the Mary Beth’s Photography experience is I have cleaned and sanitized toys, snacks and a drink fridge to keep those antsy big brothers and sisters happy while they wait. Snacks are the cure to everything for kids!
I hope this has helped explain a little more about our First Year Moments Collection. I know it can be overwhelming as new parents so I want to make it as easy as possible. No wants to miss out on capturing their newborn portraits, six month portraits or first birthday portraits! But things get put off, forgotten or over-looked. And then you’ve missed it! So this package does the reminding for you. You’ll get priority scheduling, an app to share portraits with family and friends throughout the year, a custom, delicious cake to bring home (as long as your little love doesn’t actually smash it), your choice of an end of the year keepsake and more! This decision is an easy one as a parent and take it from me, a mom of three, easy decisions when parenting don’t happen often. ❤️
