So, week one is here for our 52 week photo challenge inspired by Personal Creations. This is to get us out of our comfort zone and try and be creative! Sometimes for myself, I get in a rut with my creativity….. I know, I know it’s hard to believe that even I can just not feel creative! Three things I have learned to help get me going again is
1- Go out in nature!! I love nature! I love walking our neighborhood, the greenway near us, feeling the cool air right now and possibly some snow heading our way this weekend! Nature rejuvenates me and gets me feeling inspired again!!
2- REST…. is that even possible?? When I truly rest and take a break from it all, the creativity comes back. I feel revived and ready to get into my zone of creating new things and being inspired to create.
3- Getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things! Yup, that is what this little 52 Week Challenge is all about for me , for you , for us all!! Let’s do it together and learn and grow, because that is what life is all about!!
So, here are my crazy portraits or flops if you will for Week One- topic – SELF PORTRAIT!
I tried as I could to read about how to take one with my fancy , shamancy camera and followed what they said and this is what happened:
So then I decided to take my camera into my office and get up close and personal and see if that helped…. and this is what I was able to do!!
This was fun… a little up close and personal, but fun! Remember to join me each Wednesday as I share what I have done in the #52WeekPhotoChallenge! Join the fun and let me see what you came up with!!
Next week…..Shoot your favorite meal from different angles!!
