For an amazing light show, Lights of the South is a must visit. You can take a magical hayride through 5 million lights on display. A tunnel of lights and other themed areas are breath taking, especially for the youngest of guests. And if you’re there on a colder night, the s’mores fire pit is a must stop. Warm up, grab some hot chocolate from the concession stand and roast the perfect s’more.
The hunt for the perfect Christmas tree is on! While many go back to their favorite tree farm every year, Clarks Hill Christmas Tree Farm never disappoints. They offer a vast variety of trees and even have some show stopper larger trees if that’s what you’re looking for. Stroll through the tree farm with a piping hot chocolate, apple cider or one of the other festive treats they offer and pick out your perfect Christmas tree.
And while we’re on the topic of Christmas trees, the tree lighting at the Christmas Light Up Spectacular will be held on Saturday, December 9th. You’ll see the tree light up and fireworks to continue the show. Other activities include a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a train a kids Christmas Village with crafts, along with entertainment provided by the Richmond County School System’s elementary, middle, and high school students.
