Happy Friday! You made it through another week. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve earned yourself a nice glass of wine. But not just any wine. I was never a big wine drinker because I was always had a headache and felt like I was in a the next day. Not hungover, just not my best. Until I was introduced to Scout and Cellar wine. A new company offering their customers clean-crafted wine.
The Clean-Crafted Commitment is based on three points. Their grapes are grown without toxic pesticides, produced without artificial processing aids or ingredients and without the addition of sugar and their wines are low in sulfites. And to make sure each bottle meets these requirements, their wine is independently lab tested. Twice. Once for pesticides and next for sulfites. Then the lucky employees get to taste test the wine before it’s offered to their customers to make sure it’s delicious. Sign me up for that job!
Most wine on the market is grown with pesticides because, well it’s cheaper, quicker and easier. And people still drink it. I never actually thought about all the stuff in wine before being introduced to Scout and Cellar. I thought it was just grapes, but unfortunately, most of it is not. Did you know that wine can contain over 170 toxic pesticides that are commonly used in the wine industry? Me either! Wine that sits on the shelf in the store is full of sugar, with some wines having the same amount of sugar as a glazed donut. I have to tell you, I have drank my fair share of Scout and Cellar wine on a few nights and I’ve woken up headache free, with no fogginess. That’s was sold me.
From the soil up, Scout and Cellar is changing the way wine is produced, processed and sold. They use their independent consultants to shout from the rooftops about their wine. My cousin is a consultant and she’s the one who introduced me to this delicious wine and wonderful company. I’m so much happier drinking wine made of grapes, free of all the yucky stuff and one that doesn’t leave me grabbing for the Tylenol the next morning.
They have a great selection of wine; I’m partial to the ones on the sweeter side, but there’s a wine for everyone. And with the holidays coming up, it’s a great time to stock up for hosting or for hostess gifts. You can take a look at their vast selection and try it for yourself! Cheers friends! (and you are welcome 😉).
