I know you have read about me loving the Fall – the colors, the sounds, everything pumpkin, but I am a sucker for Christmas and all that goes along with it – granted I wouldn’t take a Peppermint Mocha over a Pumpkin Spice, but you know what I mean and I digress…. 🙂 This year, an exciting new Elf arrived at our house to join Snowy. Our daughter, Brenna, has been asking and asking for a little girl elf and Santa was listening. We welcomed Holly to our home this year and she is brought a different perspective to Christmas – kindness, not overall silliness.
Our children were so excited for Snowy to arrive and were so happy to welcome Holly into our family. Holly has been asking the children to do small acts of kindness to be completed during December. When Snowy and Holly arrived, they brought a few small treats and toys for our children. In all the rush of the holiday season, I really enjoy the special moments of looking at Christmas through a child’s eyes (maybe because sometimes my eyes are so bleary with all the “To Do” lists and rush of the season).
