Here are some great family outfits that YOU can pick up this week. Maybe you already have some of these adorable items in your wardrobe? I mean, am I the only one who goes into Target for pens and comes out with $200 worth of items? No, not just me?? Welcome to the Target support group meeting…. I digress….

Picking out your wardrobe for a portrait session can be very overwhelming, but there are some basic tips I always give. Never do matching outfits or solid tops and bottoms for the entire family (I mean, you can fund the re-pavement of the Target parking lot with those $200 shopping trips, but maybe you shouldn’t look like a family of Target employees in your portraits!) I like when there is a blend of colors. I typically say to pick a pattern for a family member and choose accent colors from that pattern – maybe the Dad’s shirt or the Mom’s dress. Starting at that point is a great way to blend colors for everyone. This season, the trendy colors that I am seeing are a dusty rose, mustard yellow, maroon and a denim blue.
