Last week, I made a post about the Reality of Christmas versus the Romance of Christmas ( a catchy little phrase I heard on my car radio while rushing from one glamorous moment of my December life to the next! 😉 ) and this week, I am focused on the ways I can control the madness. Let’s be honest, shall we… Christmas and the Holiday Season only adds to the our already busy schedules, so I decided that come the new year, I was taking planning by its proverbial horns and get my time management game on! (Too much energy and excitement about my schedule?? Hear me out!)
A few years ago, before the time of calendars on our phones, I had a beautiful planner that was amazing. Erin Condren has a beautiful line of Life Planners (oooohhhh, I LOVE that!), Books, Stationery, School, Office and Home Supplies, Accessories, Apparel & Gifts and of course, fun Holiday gifts.
Obviously, I was in the market for a time management planner and when I looked back into her offerings, I fell in love with her Life Planners, which include three different layouts, two color theme options and can be purchased in 12 or 18-month calendars. The Life Planner is completely customizable, as well with coil color options, personalized option for covers and cover options including hard bound, leather-like and permanent. I really liked that the planners have hourly blocks of time, which is super important in my line of work!
The LIfe Planners are all designed and assembled in the USA! That is one option that I am really happy to invest in for sure!
But I hear you out there saying, “But Mary Beth, we are going into 2017, why OH WHY! don’t you use an online calendar?” I hear you and to that I say, “I tried that and the system has let me down a few times this year and my clients deserve more.” Thankfully, in the couple of instances that happened, I was able to manage those situations, but I know that the old standard pen to paper won’t let me down and in such a beautiful way – just looking at the planner makes me so happy!
