Oh sweet summer, how I love you! With your long days, children who are able to sleep in, fun daytime adventures and all the wonderful fruits and veggies that make the days extra sweet! My family and I make a 25 minute drive to one of our most favorite places for all of summer’s extra sweetness to Sara’s Fresh Market in Trenton, SC. We fondly call it, “Sara’s Peach Stand” at our home, because we LOVE their fresh peaches, which are FABULOUS and the most delicious around.
Just follow the flags leading to the market and there you can also stock up on fresh corn, squash, onions and they have a few specialty items including a peach hot sauce and an ice cream stand!!
We make our trips their so special, because we all drool over all the yummy treats we make with the peaches including this peach cobbler recipe. This year was a bit extra special, because Sara’s Fresh Market was also a Pokemon GO stop. The three Cooper kids were super excited about that, too.
