It’s that time of year where the birds are chirping, the breeze is warm and the days are a little longer. We’re also entering one of the most popular times of the year for family portrait sessions. Sometimes the biggest obstacle to family portrait sessions is what to wear. So we put together a spring portraits outfit guide to make it simple. And give you a little inspiration!
off-white tank dress, girls dress, boys checkered button up shirt, boys khaki shorts, mens navy button up shirt, mens grey pants
navy cinch dress, girls jean dress, toddler dress, mens blue linen button up shirt, mens jeans
tank dress, boys tshit, boys khaki shorts, boys chambray button up, boys grey shorts, mens grey polo, mens jeans
I always encourage my clients to stay neutral with outfits for family portraits. Don’t put too many prints together. Stay away from clothing that is so loose it doesn’t give you a shape. No bright colors. While our goal of your family portraits session is to capture a moment that you’ll treasure for a lifetime. We know that outfits that are too trendy can make your photos feel dated after just a few years. By choosing classic, timeless outfits, your portraits will always look elegant. They will be something you’re proud to display in your home.
At Mary Beth’s Photography, we’re dedicated to creating portraits that go beyond just a photo; we aim to capture the essence of your family and the bonds you share. With the right clothing choices, we can create an image that reflects your unique style while ensuring your family will always look their best.
We can’t wait to help you capture beautiful, meaningful moments that will be cherished for generations this spring!
