As you all know, my family recently moved into a new home! It’s been a long and exciting adventure after living in our last house for over 17 years. This new home we built from the ground up on land we carefully selected. Each detail had to be planned and mapped out so that the execution was flawless; much like the custom sets, I do for my portrait photography clients! Although, as anyone who has ever built a new construction home knows things do not always go flawlessly. I am happy to report that our project did go exceptionally well, and the toughest part was moving right before my son graduated high school and one other secret that I’ve been keeping for months. MY NEW ALL NATURAL LIGHT STUDIO!
As we were designing and building our home, we were able to incorporate a brand new studio for Mary Beth’s Photography right here on the same property with beautiful views of Capers Lake. I am so filled with JOY to finally share this news with my clients, neighbors, and friends. It is a wonderful separate space from our home and with the lake plus an acre and half of the property, we will be able to take some AMAZING portraits outside as well. Having been in downtown North Augusta, SC, for 4 years, I have to admit the most bittersweet part of moving is not being surrounded by all of the locally owned businesses that make up our community. Being in the downtown areas has meant so much to me over the years, and I will continue to frequent those places and support them in the community.
Stay tuned as I share more of the new studio over the coming weeks. It’s been fun to have already worked with several clients in the new space, and I cannot wait to share it with all of you!
All My Best,
Mary Beth
