I am so excited for this week’s post!  I am thrilled to announce a new offering to new mothers!  At your newborn portrait session, Mary Beth’s Photography is now providing postpartum dresses for you to feel beautiful and confident in. We have focused on our littles clients (looking at you newborns and first birthday babes) and have such a great variety of headbands, wraps, backdrops and props for them.  Now, it’s time to give a little more thought to the mothers!

It’s so hard to dress after having a baby.  Your body has changed, your hormones are all over the place and you’ve probably never been so exhausted in your life.  While your little love has, and always will, take center stage at the Newborn Portrait Sessions, we love to get some family portraits as well.  We know time goes so darn fast and your little one will move through this newborn phase in the blink of an eye.  You don’t want to miss having family portraits during this very special time in all of your lives.

These dresses are gorgeous.  They are flowy and the most beautiful, neutral colors.  They are all size X-Large and can be pinned and tucked so we can create the perfect fit for you.  We want to make sure they fit your beautiful body the way it is now.  That beautiful body that carried your little one (or ones), the only home that your bundle of joy knew for nine months.  The beautiful body that gave them life and sacrificed so much!  Let’s celebrate your body and all it’s been though!

Offering these dresses means so much to me because I know what it’s like after having a newborn.  The selflessness it takes to be a mother.  Even in a world that tells you to fill your own cup first, we are always putting ourselves and needs on the back burner.  When you come to your Newborn Portrait Session, we want you to feel at ease.  Your little peanut will be pampered beyond measure (they’re the star of the show after all), but we want you to feel taken care of too.  We don’t want you to be worried about your outfit or what fits and what doesn’t.  Just sit back and enjoy this portrait session and take it all in.  Take in all the little smirks, the tiny feet and toes, the tiny arm stretches and everything in between.  Here at Mary Beth’s Photography, we got everything else covered.
