All year long, I talk about “Capturing Life’s Beautiful Moments”, freezing time in one moment and making sure that moms are included in portraits (even if they are with your phone), because one day, you will look back and want to remember your children, your life, family and yourself in this exact moment.
So, I took my own advice this year, because it has been a monumental year for me. I lost my Mom back in May and had lost my Dad a few years ago, so now all that I have left of them, beyond my amazing memories and their words of advice is my pictures of them. Those images bring me joy and comfort and bring so many memories back.
I am also the Mom to a high school senior as of August and that has been sitting on my heart each day as I watch my oldest son go through life knowing… just knowing that our lives will never be the same once he goes to college next year.
