Did you just make that drooling sound or was it me? Or is everyone in the Augusta, GA area running to the store to make this YUMMY, classic dessert! I can’t help it, but I become a kid again with this delicious holiday treat – Ice Box Cake. It really is super simple, but takes a bit of patience and the ability to balance chocolate wafers in between home made whip cream – or in my case, it takes the most extreme level of will power to not eat all the whip cream and wafers before the delicious dessert is made! Now, if you can formulate a sentence after reading the ingredients and looking at these yummy pictures, then I deem you OK to drive to your local grocery store and get these ingredients RIGHT NOW! You will be the hit of that party tonight or, in this no judgement zone, we don’t mind if you eat it all yourself tonight.

Ingredients:

Box of Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers ( found where the ice cream condiments are)
1- medium size heavy whipping cream
1 Tspn vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar

Directions:
1-Whip the cream with adding to it the vanilla and sugar, till it is light and fluffy and is like whip cream.
2-Spread a small amount of whip cream on each wafer and make stacks until you have used all wafers.
3- Turn all wafer stacks on their sides and connect them like a train.
4-Use the rest of the whip cream to cover the entire wafer train.
5- Place 3 toothpicks evenly into top log and cover with Saran Wrap and place in refrigerator to chill for 4-6 hrs. The longer the better!!
6- To serve cut on a diagonal as it looks pretty that way!!
