Well, we finally made it… good-bye 2014! Hello 2015! What an amazing year it was and I, personally and professionally, am so excited about what is in store for 2015. To kick off the new year right and to say good-bye to 2014 in style, we attended one awesome New Year Eve’s party. This is where you can start pretending you were there, as I describe each detail of our super fun evening. Don’t worry, I will wait – go ahead and put your cocktail dress or tux back on! (Wait… we didn’t roll in 2015 in that style either! ) We did welcome 2015 with hot food – well, food we had to dunk to heat – let me explain.
Each year my husband’s family would celebrate NYE with fondue and we have always continued the tradition – no matter what else was happening in our lives. This year, we celebrated with our Bible Study friends and everyone was assigned a course – cheese, main meat course (with a yummy broth for cooking the meat) and CHOCOLATE (oh, did I shout that??)!!! We had lots of great dipping items for the chocolate including marshmallows, strawberries, pound cake, and graham crackers. What a fun way to spend our last few moments in 2014 and first few moments in 2015! Happy New Year to you and yours!
