Did you know that I really enjoy eating? Let’s be serious for second, shall we?? I have always found enjoying a meal with friends and family good for my soul. Brett and I make it a mission to have meals together as a family around our table every night. Don’t get me wrong – some weeks are a booming success and some weeks are a total bust, but it is really something we value.
And sometimes, when life gets busy and we need a dinner out that is delicious, with great service and perfect for our budget, we head to Chick-Fil-A in North Augusta. Jon and Rachel Dawkins, our neighbors, own the store and to say that they work hard is an understatement.
Jon and Rachel are constantly giving back to the community and are always showing their employees their dedication and drive for their customers. One day, at lunchtime – one of their busiest times – it was pouring rain outside. Jon was outside, with an umbrella in hand, making sure customers could get to their cars without getting wet.. Seriously??!!! Who does that?
Tuesdays and Thursdays are Kids’ Night at Chick-Fil-A in downtown North Augusta on Knox Avenue and they even have Mommy and Me Mornings for mornings out for Moms.
My personal favorites are their chicken sandwich or their grilled chicken garden salad with honey mustard dressing. And who doesn’t like the waffle fries!?!
