As you know, I am not an island alone in this world of Mary Beth’s Photography. I am fortunate enough to employ a couple of talented women who help keep me and this career afloat, in a variety of ways – sometimes it is helping to set up for a photo shoot or develop a new website, or sometimes it is to bounce ideas off and strategize for the next year OR it is to share a laugh over a cup of coffee or a phone call to make sure we are all staying sane! As in many aspects of life, it takes a village to make a person, or in this case… a photography business. I was speaking to my Marketing and Advertising team member, Claudine, who is the Mom of almost 4-year-old twins and she explained that part of her day consisted of preparing for the Valentine’s Day celebration as her children’s school. I expected to hear about the cute cards she found at Target and the yummy cookies she bought from there too, but when then I heard the word Pinterest and I knew all bets were off!
So, after a little bit of searching on that highly addictive site, she made the creations you see here – adorable, right? “So glad we’re in the same school!” Valentine’s with three Swedish Fish and Go Go Sqeez’s with “Valentine, you’re my main squeeze“! Easey Peasey due to the printables she found. And how easy are rice krispie treats to make?? One quick cut of the heart-shaped cookie cutter, some icing and VIOLA! Instant preschool success! Luckily enough, not only does Claudine work with me, but I get to call her cousin, as well and I like knowing that my Godson is sending in such cute and fun Valentine’s and treats – already taking after his Godmother, in my opinion!! 🙂 Did you know that you can also find me on Pinterest? Take a look for some “pin-spiration” for your next session!
