My goal is to make the experience feel easy, relaxed, and full of Christmas magic from the moment you book until you receive your final portraits.

Santa mini sessions are so much more than a quick portrait with Santa. They’re a chance to slow down, soak in the magic of the season, and preserve this special stage of your child’s life.

Each family enjoys a private, 15-minute experience designed especially for little ones. That means there’s plenty of time for genuine smiles, quiet conversations, and those sweet little moments that can’t be posed.

Whether you’re joining me from North Augusta, Augusta, Evans, or anywhere in the CSRA, my hope is that you leave with more than beautiful Christmas portraits. I want you to leave with memories your family will treasure for years to come.

What Happens After I Book?

As soon as you reserve your Santa mini session, you’ll receive a welcome guide with everything you need to feel prepared.

Inside you’ll find important session details, helpful tips for preparing your little ones, and my curated outfit guide filled with color palettes and styling inspiration that beautifully complement this year’s Christmas set.

My goal is to take the guesswork out of planning so that when the day of the session arrives, all you have to do is show up, relax, and enjoy the experience.

What Happens During the Session?

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a cozy Christmas atmosphere complete with hot cocoa, coffee, cookies, and milk for Santa, and a chance for everyone to settle in.

One of my favorite parts of the experience happens before your child even realizes Santa is nearby.

Rather than having Santa walk right up or make a grand entrance, he quietly peeks out from behind the set where your child can’t see him. This allows me to preserve your little one’s genuine expressions while Santa is already part of the portrait. If your child is a little nervous, you’ll still have beautiful portraits before they’re ever asked to meet him.

Once they’re comfortable, we’ll introduce Santa at their own pace.

We’ll read a Christmas story, chat with Santa, enjoy cookies and milk, and, if your child brought a letter, they’ll have the chance to deliver it in person.

No rushing or forcing moments. 

Your family will also enjoy two beautifully styled setups, and every child will take home a special wooden ornament as a keepsake from the day.

What If My Child Is Nervous Around Santa?

This is by far the question I hear most often.

The truth is, every child is different, and every reaction is completely okay.

Some little ones run right to Santa. Others prefer to stay close to Mom or Dad for a few minutes before saying hello. Some simply enjoy watching from a distance.

That’s why I never expect children to perform or force interactions they’re not comfortable with.

We’ll simply follow your child’s lead.

Some of my favorite Christmas portraits have come from children who were shy at first. Those quiet glances, tiny smiles, and moments of curiosity often become the portraits families treasure most because they’re real.
