Many of my clients love to bring a few items to incorporate into the cake smash session. From sentimental pieces of loved ones to items that correlate to their careers or hobby, it’s always fun to add personal touches to your session. Baby R is proving that fashion is timeless by wearing the same dress and necklace her mother wore when she was a little girl. What a beautiful thing to have those portraits to look back on.
The simplicity of this lavender cake smash session is stunning. The greenery in the balloon garland gives it a natural element and Baby R’s face while she’s eating the cake says it all. She didn’t need a lot of convincing to dig into her cake which always makes for great portraits. And a fun memory. Icing on their nose and all.
